Airline Considerations for Inflight Connectivity

Airline Considerations for Inflight Connectivity

When we board an aircraft today as passengers, we have very high expectations – probably the highest they’ve ever been. One of those is of our connectivity experience. We want at-home quality, smooth and seamless, with no buffering and no drops in connectivity.

With such expectations on their shoulders, Airline Service Providers really do have their job cut out for them when it comes to meeting the inflight connectivity (IFC) requirements of their customers. They are heavily reliant on advanced mobility technology incorporated with their value-added services. The IFC network needs to deliver data rates of hundreds of megabits per second to aircraft to satiate passengers’ and operational applications. The network also needs to scale as demands increase and new technology comes to fruition. Choosing an IFC Service Provider is a high stakes decision that touches many aspects of the airline’s business from brand loyalty to safety.

We invite you to watch our on-demand webinar that will give you the partner perspective on advanced mobility. We’ll take you through what advanced mobility actually means. We’ll hear from the Service Providers who are actually deploying advanced mobility solutions and how this is enabling them to differentiate and we will look at the ultimate impact of how this all plays into the passenger experience.
