Evolution / Velocity Line Cards

Our Universal Line Cards (ULCs) and Defense Line Cards (DLCs) are compatible with the Universal Hub. The ULCs work with both Evolution and Velocity platforms across commercial and defense markets while the DLCs work on Evolution and Evolution Defense platforms.

Evolution / Velocity Line Cards
  • The ULC-R is the next generation receive line card for our Evolution® and Velocity® platforms. The ULC-R features Adaptive TDMA, multi-channel support and very high symbol rates. Designed for high throughput satellites (HTS) networks.

    • One demodulator, up to 16 channels
    • Adaptive TDMA, up to 29Msps 16QAM
    • Can coexist with existing XLC series line cards
    ULC-R
  • The ULC-T is a powerful next generation transmit line card operating in both Evolution® and Velocity®. The ULC-T features DVB-S2/ACM and is DVB-S2X. The ULC-T is designed to support much higher symbol rates, up to 119 Msps via a software license upgrade and support higher IP throughputs with higher MODCODs. Ideal for high throughput satellites (HTS) networks.

    • One modulator
    • Supports DVB-S2/DVB-S2X ACM with Modulation from QPSK to 256APSK
    • Up to 119Msps DVB-S2X forward carriers
    • Low initial cost, pay-as-you-grow through software enabled licensing
    • Can coexist with existing XLC series line cards
    ULC-T
  • The DLC-R is defense receive line card compatible with the Evolution® platform. The DLC-R features TRANSEC, FIPS 140-2 Level 3, Adaptive TDMA, multi-channel support and a path to higher symbol rates. Designed for high throughput satellites (HTS) networks.

    • One demodulator, up to 16 channels

    • FIPS 140-2 Level 3, TRANSEC
    • HTS ready
    • Can coexist with existing eMxDx series line cards
    DLC-R Line Card
  • The DLC-T is a next generation defense transmit line card compatible with the Evolution® platform. The DLC-T features TRANSEC, FIPS 140-2 Level 3, DVB-S2, linear pre-distortion, and higher MODCODs. Designed for high throughput satellites (HTS) networks.

    • One modulator
    • DVB-S2
    • FIPS 140-2 Level 3, TRANSEC
    • Optional Linear pre-distortion
    • HTS ready
    • Can coexist with existing eMxDx series line cards
