Intuition Brand Unveil
On day 1 of Satellite 2024, we gave attendees and virtual registrants an exclusive first look at Intuition, our next generation ground system. Our CEO Don Claussen kicked off the morning with a speech followed by our Senior Vice President of Engineering Sridhar Kuppanna. Attendees got a first look and listen on how we’re laying out our vision for the future of the satellite industry, and how Intuition will bring change and unity to our customers and the industry.

Intuition Technology Demos
This year, Intuition demonstrations were the focal point of our booth, where our team of experts walked visitors through guided explanations of our technology innovations and progress.
Intuition NMS
Attendees received a sneak peek of our cloud-based Intuition NMS, which leveraged the latest industry standards, features higher network scale, offers rich APIs for seamless integration, and optimizes the overall user experience.
Virtualization and Digitalization
Viewers experienced our continued collaboration with Microsoft Azure to virtualize our infrastructure including network processing and modems, refining our cloud strategy for the future that will improve scale and flexibility and our progress on the DIFI standard and the drive towards interoperability.
Multi-Orbit
We presented the details of the successful demonstration of multi-orbit switching via a single tracking algorithm, where viewers learned how we will incorporate this into our next generation ground system.

Taking our Innovation to the Center Stage
Our team of experts had the chance to sit on 5(!) panels including a CEO roundtable joined by ST Engineering iDirect CEO Don Claussen where he discussed the ways our innovative ground systems are ready to fill in the connectivity gaps only standards can provide, and an ST Engineering iDirect takeover at the unveiled theater lead by Director of Product Management Alan Wong and Senior Principal Product Manager Bert van der Linden on the building blocks for the next-generation ground segment that will fundamentally change the way satellite networks are deployed.
