Chris Boyd, Senior Director Vertical Market Solutions, VT iDirect, is responsible for driving the overall product and solution strategy across VT iDirect’s core vertical markets – maritime, aero, telco/enterprise, IoT and defense. Previously, Boyd focused on next-gen advanced mobility solutions. This work, leveraging 4G/5G network solutions using 3GPP mobility standards, brings significant expansion of iDirect’s mobility capabilities. With 20+ years of networking experience, Boyd is a recognized subject matter expert in the application and implementation of IP-centric, satellite-based advanced technologies for telecom, defense, and first responders markets as well as cellular backhaul over satellite (4G-LTE) and advanced mobility technology solutions.

David Bunting, Director of Product Management within the Enterprise and Emerging Markets Division, Speedcast, has over 20 years of experience within the satellite communications sector, with a significant focus on iDirect hub infrastructure within the Government and Energy sectors. Prior to joining Speedcast Bunting held various Engineering positions with Intelsat General, DRS, and Harris CapRock.

Jose Del Rosario, Research Director, Northern Sky Research (NSR), is a senior member of the consulting team where he focuses his research on quantitative modeling, data verification, and market forecasting for the commercial and government satellite communications sectors. In addition to authoring numerous syndicated reports in his areas of focus, Del Rosario has been involved in a wide range of strategic consulting projects, advising clients on market trends, implications, and strategies on such diverse topics as high throughput satellites (HTS), hosted payloads, wireless backhaul, SCADA/M2M/LDR and multi-mission satellite programs.
