We are enabling our ecosystem partners – Kymeta and Isotropic Systems – to integrate our modem technology into their terminal solutions to create customized and cost-effective offerings for a multitude of markets:
- Kymeta’s KyWay™ terminal integrates ground-breaking mTenna™ flat panel antenna technology with BUC, LNB, diplexer, and the industry-leading iDirect X7 modem, to serve a broad range of mobility applications, uniting high throughput performance with a sleek form factor.
- Isotropic Systems, a next-generation satellite terminal provider, announced a partnership with iDirect to create a first-of-its-kind satellite ground terminal with integrated modem technology designed to deliver broadband connectivity for a wide range of consumer and enterprise applications. The agreement with iDirect, as the leading modem technology provider for fixed and mobility markets, and Isotropic Systems’ disruptive optical technology and market-focused plan, will create a revolutionary shift in the industry to unencumber high-throughput satellite (HTS) broadband.
Celebrating Awards
Integrasys won a World Teleport Association award for “Teleport Technology of the Year” during Satellite 2018 for their “Always Up Satellite Terminal” (Alusat) solution! This automated VSAT tool helps to enhance virtual network maintenance after installation, and is an extension of the Satmotion Pocket remote commissioning tool. Here’s a link for an Alusat demo.
The Future is Bright!
iDirect is excited to continue to lead the satellite industry to become a vital part of the broad telecommunications landscape. We are innovating on all levels to so that our partners will be able to deliver services over multi-orbit constellations and multi-access technologies. We are laying the foundation with the adoption of EPC standards to enable roaming and a true IP mobility among multi-orbit such as LEO/MEO/GEO. We are also developing multi-access through the integration into mainstream technologies by adopting telco standards such as 5G, and increasing scale, flexibility and automation through the use of SDN/NFV standards and virtualization.
