Training

All ST Engineering iDirect courses are delivered by engineers with field expertise and skilled in training techniques. Each has been awarded with satisfaction rates of 90% and more. Our hands-on training enables efficient network installation, operation and maintenance to minimize network downtime. Our courses are continually reviewed and developed, and combine theoretical presentations, discussions, demonstrations and hands-on exercises. We offer a variety of options to deliver our training to our global partners. 

ST Engineering iDirect provides a range of certifications for our Newtec product line that are globally recognized. The different certifications are adapted to the activity of the certified person (installer, operator, sales) and the level of expertise required.  

Training
  • Due to the current travel restrictions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and the different regulations per country or region, ST Engineering iDirect will deliver all training sessions mentioned in the Open Training Calendar via live on-line sessions where all students will have hands-on connection to the training lab via a secured VPN connection.

    • In-Company Training — Select any theoretical and hands-on training from our extensive training portfolio to be organized at a location of your choice.
    • Tailor-made Training — Sometimes the most effective way to meet your organization’s learning objectives is to commission us to design a training program specifically for you. This can involve tailoring existing modules or devising an entirely new solution. A quote for tailor-made training can be provided on request.     • GVF Training — ST Engineering iDirect is a registered Certified GVF training reseller.
    • Certification Programs — ST Engineering iDirect certifications entitle your organization to perform certain activities in our value network, such as operating a repair center, delivering training sessions, or providing expert support. Our programs assist in laying the professional groundwork needed to succeed using our product lines, by providing the appropriate skills and accreditation for installation, operation and design engineers. It is a way for skilled professionals to demonstrate their expertise and proficiency in our latest technology and solutions.

    Both hotels are within 10 minutes’ drive by car from the training center. The Academy can arrange daily pickup at the hotel or from the airport, railway station or other hub.

     

  • The Academy offers training to design, operate and manage satellite networks using our iDirect and Newtec product lines. Our programs are designed to keep our partners up to date on the latest products and technologies and have the confidence and experience to design, install, configure, manage and troubleshoot our systems. Partners will see a reduction in OPEX and more motivated staff by providing training and certification.
