Brian Jakins is Senior Vice President, Global Sales & Market Development at ST Engineering iDirect, where he leads strategic initiatives to drive global sales growth and strengthen customer relationships. A seasoned sales and management executive, Jakins has over two decades of experience in the telecommunications and satellite industries.

Prior to his current role, he held key leadership positions at Intelsat, including Vice President & GM of Enterprise and Fixed Networks, where he spearheaded cross-functional teams and built strong client partnerships. His tenure at Intelsat also included serving as Regional Vice President of Sales for South Africa, where he successfully expanded market presence.

His career also includes leadership roles at Aviat Networks, Alcatel-Lucent, and Siemens, where he managed sales and services across Africa and the Middle East, focusing on innovative solutions like IP backhauling and managed site services.

Jakins holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Heriot-Watt University and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Milpark Education.
