iDirect Quality of Service Boot Camp – iDX 4.X

The iDirect Quality of Service (iQoS) is a five day advanced training course. It will provide the learner with the knowledge required to fully understand and efficiently configure Quality of Service on Evolution networks.

This training is oriented towards personnel responsible for designing and implementing Quality of Service (QoS) and Service Level Agreements (SLA) on Evolution networks. Participants in the iDirect Quality of Service training must have completed the iDirect Operation & Maintenance (iOM) course first.

A blended format of lectures, demonstrations and practical exercises, this training provides in-depth theoretical knowledge regarding the functionality of iDirect Quality of Service and features Group QoS with additional background knowledge on the subject. In addition to course material, the learner will obtain knowledge on OSI stack, Ethernet frames, IP packets, TCP segments, packet generation and capturing tools, traffic filtering and of course knowledge on Group QoS (GQoS). After completing all associated materials, lectures, practical exercises and learner knowledge assessments, a final written exam will be administered at the end of the five-day training session.
