The Advanced iDirect Operation & Maintenance (AiOM) training is a four day course focused on providing the knowledge required to better understand iDirect networks from the hub-side perspective. This allow the operator to perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting tasks efficiently over the iDirect teleport components.
This training is oriented towards personnel responsible for second and third level support on iDirect satellite products and networks. The training satisfies requests from our customers and partners to provide a course covering more in-depth information about the iDirect equipment.
The course, a blended format of lectures, demonstrations and practical exercises, is presented in a clear and technical format. In addition to course material, each learner will obtain knowledge required to monitor the real-time status of the iDirect hub servers and components, perform system health checks, advanced backup recovery procedures, observe automatic failover processes and accomplish advanced traffic troubleshooting tasks. The class will be conducted using iDX 3.5 software release exclusively.
After completing all associated materials, lectures, practical exercises and learner knowledge assessments, a final written exam will be administered at the end of the four-day training session.
