Meet the Regional Africa Team

We have grown our team to ensure we have the best expertise to help you expand your business portfolio with the latest technology, and ensure you have the best-in-class platform to retain and attract new customers.

Our Africa sales team is led by Shobena Appalraju, Sales Director. Shobena has nearly 20 years of experience in the satcom industry.

Mohinder Bansal will be covering East and Central Africa. Mohinder has over 10 years of experience in the satellite industry and 18 years overall selling technology. Prior to joining the team at iDirect, he worked with Avanti as their regional manager of the Middle East, where he helped sell their leading solutions and thus became very familiar with iDirect products. Prior to Avanti he held sales positions at CET and an ISP in Nigeria. Mohinder
Adeniji Adeola will be covering the West African region (English speaking countries). Adeniji (otherwise known as Niji) brings a wealth of experience in sales management and solution selling with 12 years of ICT experience. Niji worked for a leading ISP in Nigeria, Main One, since 2012. With previous sales experience across West Africa working for companies such as Intersat, Iway Africa and Mweb. While based in Lagos, he was responsible for the sale of VSAT products and expanding business development activities. Adeniji
Amadou Gueye will be covering West Africa (French speaking countries). Amadou has 15+ years of ICT and Telecom industry sales experience across the African region focused on corporates. Amadou is based in Dakar Senegal with extensive background with Telcos, ISPs, Government and Pay-TV operators in West and Central Africa. During his work at Ericsson, Amadou focused on Sub-Sahara African sales of Core Network Solutions to all Mobile and Fixed Operators, including ISPs, and International Carriers. Amadou
