Mary Cotton
Chief Executive Officer

Mary Cotton joined iDirect in September 2007, bringing more than 18 years of technology leadership creating and driving successful growth strategies in CEO, COO and CFO roles.

Prior to joining iDirect, Ms. Cotton served as Senior Vice President with SAP Industry Solutions, the world's largest business application software company.  She joined SAP in 2005 after managing the acquisition and sale of Frictionless Commerce, a provider of supplier relationship management software, where she served as Chief Executive Officer.

Prior to SAP, Ms. Cotton held several top management positions including Chief Operating Office and Chief Financial Officer at Aspen Technology Inc., a provider of software and services that help companies improve their manufacturing processes.  There she executed an aggressive growth strategy that took AspenTech from a $6M private company to a $330M publicly traded international solutions provider.

Ms. Cotton holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Boston College.

     
     

 

David Bettinger
Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President of Engineering

Mr. Bettinger joined iDirect Technologies as the Director of Hardware Engineering in 1996 and took over responsibility of all hardware and software development as VP of Engineering in 2002.  In his role as Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President of Engineering, he is responsible for the oversight of all technology and engineering decisions within iDirect and serves to drive the strategic direction for product development.  In addition to being the lead system architect for iDirect's flagship NetModem and iNFINITI series products, Mr. Bettinger is also active in industry standards organizations and forums and is a member of the Telecommunications Industry Association, IEEE and the IPv6 Forum.

Mr. Bettinger has been active in the satellite networking industry for over 15 years, and previous to iDirect, Mr. Bettinger was a senior member of the technical staff at Hughes Network Systems in the Satellite Networks Division.  Mr. Bettinger is a graduate of Virginia Tech with a Masters of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.

     
     


 

Toni Lee Rudnicki
Chief Marketing Officer

Ms. Rudnicki joined iDirect in September 2006 as Chief Marketing Officer and manages all global marketing activities.  Previously, Ms. Rudnicki was the Chief Marketing Officer for TANDBERG, and has held senior level positions with companies such as Aspen Technologies, Digital Equipment Corporation, General Electric Space Division and The Dow Chemical Company.

Ms. Rudnicki is a graduate of Wilson College in Chambersburg, Pa., and the Advanced Management Program at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.

     
     


 

Dean Griffler
Senior Vice President of Global Sales

As Senior Vice President of Global Sales, Dean Griffler brings over 20 years of sales and operational leadership experience in the data and telecommunications industries to iDirect Technologies.
 
Prior to joining iDirect, Dean held a senior sales leadership position at CopperCom, a provider of switching, portal and application solutions for communications carriers. He also held various management roles in enterprise and channel sales at FORE Systems (now part of Ericsson). 
 
Dean has extensive experience selling business solutions to large global organizations as well as major service providers. He joined the company in December 2001 as one of the first sales leaders, and has been instrumental in the development of iDirect’s world class sales organization. Through his efforts, iDirect was able to attract and become equipment providers to several of the world’s leading satellite network operators in the oil and gas sector including Schlumberger, SOLA Communications, and Quick Link Communications. 
 
Dean holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University, Honors College.


 

Rock Arkie
Senior Vice President of Operations

Mr. Arkie joined iDirect Technologies in 2003 from TANDBERG, a global videoconferencing supplier, where he was Vice President accountable for order intake, order processing, logistics, manufacturing of key applications products, education, technical services, and information technologies.  His experience ranges from operations and systems engineering, to telecommunications infrastructure design implementation and management.  He held senior positions with Marconi Services-Americas and FORE systems, with IBM, 3Com, and the banking and after stints government sectors.

     
     


 

Karen L. Reser
Vice President of Human Resources

Ms. Reser's career in Human Resources spans over 20 years in both corporate start-ups and established technology and manufacturing organizations.  She joined the company in March 2001 and is responsible for developing and directing the global Human Resources strategies and systems.  Prior to joining iDirect, Ms. Reser served as Vice President of Human Resources for Peak Technologies.  She has also held senior-level human resources positions with such companies as Qwest Communications International, Inc., American Red Cross-National Headquarters, and Lockheed Martin Corporation.  Ms. Reser holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Northern Colorado.
