Provider of Satellite Broadband IP Technology Recognized for Outstanding Growth

RESTON, Va. -- iDirect Technologies, a privately held company that designs, develops, and markets the fastest, most reliable bi-directional satellite-based broadband IP solutions, has been ranked 196th nationally in the Deloitte & Touche's Technology Fast 500 Program for 2003. The ranking is based on the percentage of growth in fiscal year revenues over five years, from 1998 through 2002.

"We are delighted to be among the national pace setters in a prestigious recognition program like the Technology Fast 500, especially following our Top 10 showing in the Deloitte& Touche Technology Fast 50 for Virginia," said John Kealey, iDirect's CEO.

iDirect Technologies products and software solutions are used by satellite network operators and network service providers to deliver reliable two-way broadband services to enterprises of all kinds, supporting the most demanding applications.

To qualify for the Technology Fast 500, companies must have had operating revenues of at least $50,000 in 1998 and one million dollars in 2002, must be public or private in North America, and must be a "technology company" defined as owning proprietary technology that contributes to a significant portion of the company's operating revenues, or devoting a significant proportion of revenues to technology research and development.
