Overview

The iDirect Cellular Backhaul Training (iCBT) is aimed at network designers within iDirect Hub
Operators. The objective of the training is to understand the network architecture and
business benefits of the IP Broadband VSAT-based cellular backhaul infrastructure.

The student should have a good understanding of the iDirect solution, IP and satellite
principles. Typically, the participant will have passed the iDirect Network Design Class (iNDC).

Prerequisites

  • Students must be familiar with the iDirect Broadband VSAT solution and the
    basic product capabilities.
  • The Class is open to network consultants within iDirect Network Operators who need to translate customers’ broadband service requirements into an iDirectbased business case and service offering.
  • Students shall bring along their laptop PC for hands-on network design exercises and case studies using the iDirect GSM Design Tool (iGSM) and the iDirect Network Planning Tool (iNPT).
  • The training last one day (Day 1: 10:00 am to 6:00pm), and is free of charge to students.
